Big Bike Day – 5 June 

 

 

The Big Bike Day is aimed at cyclists of all ages and abilities and includes rides, events, fun, entertainment and exhibition stalls. 

The second Lanarkshire Big Bike Day will take place on Sunday 5 June from 10.30am until 4.30pm at Chatelherault Country Park, near Hamilton.

The Big Bike Day is aimed at cyclists of all ages and abilities and includes rides, events, fun, entertainment and exhibition stalls.

There will be three road rides (12-20 miles) and four off-road routes to explore. All will have a leader to guide participants.  The rides have been particularly geared towards less experienced cyclists, families and newcomers.                                 

There will also be a 50 mile 5-valley ride for the hardened enthusiast.

In the park there will be information stalls, veteran bike display, roller racing demo, children's games, cycle orienteering and events for youngsters.

The event is free to attend.

Please bring your bike along and bring friends and family too.
