Patient Pathways 

 
The Vascular Services Managed Clinical Network (MCN) has developed four We are working closely with renal physicians, allied health professionals and diabetes colleagues to develop joint patient pathways patient clinical pathways (abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease, intermittent claudication/critical ischaemia and varicose veins) which are designed to create a smoother seamless service for patients who have vascular disease.
 
We are working closely with renal physicians, allied health professionals (for example, physiotherapy and podiatry), and diabetes colleagues to develop joint patient pathways.

These pathways will cover areas such as fistula creation and management for renal patients, rehabilitation for patients who have had an amputation and patients with a diabetic foot problem.
