NMC registrations expiring in November

It is essential that all nurses and midwives pay their annual fees and submit their documentation before their due dates to avoid their registration lapsing.

From November 2015, if nurses and midwives allow their registration to lapse the only way to regain registration would be by applying for readmission. That process can take two to six weeks, depending on their circumstances and they would be unable to practise during that period.

Please remind your colleagues to manage their registration carefully. The easiest way for them to do this is through NMC Online.

The November expiry date is next Monday, 30 November. Any colleagues who have not yet paid their fee or submitted their NOP can still meet the deadline if they act now, using NMC Online Online.

Nurses and midwives with December expiry dates should take particular care, given the holidays at the end of that month.
