Intensive Care Introduction

Welcome to the Intensive Care information area. This area of the website will provide you with information about critical care and is designed to answer some of the questions you may have.

There are three intensive care units in Lanarkshire, with one in each of the acute hospitals, Wishaw General, Hairmyres and Monklands Hospital.

Although these pages will provide answers to many of your questions, they are intended as additional support and information. A member of the critical care team will be more than happy to discuss any questions or concerns with you and will be able to provide information about your individual situation.
