Our Aim 

 

Our aim is to help patients and the public have more influence over the planning and development of local health services and those delivered jointly with the local council and voluntary organisations by:The East Kilbride & District  Public Partnership Forum is committed to providing a link between the community, the NHS and our local Council, focusing on better quality decision-making and improvement of services.

  • Being a voice for patients and the public on all health issues
  • Helping to identify the health and well-being needs of local communities
  • Informing the public of services available to them
  • Encouraging wider public involvement in planning and decision-making

The East Kilbride & District  Public Partnership Forum is committed to providing a link between the community, the NHS and our local Council, focusing on better quality decision-making and improvement of services.

We are an advisory body whose duty is to represent the views of the general public to NHS Lanarkshire and the Scottish Government Health Department.

The forum meets every 2 months in the Murray Owen Centre, East Kilbride. Meetings last about 2 hours.
