Red Deer Centre

Day care rehabilitation services at the Red Deer Centre  transferred to a new rapid assessment, diagnostic and rehabilitation (RADAR) centre for older people at Hairmyres Hospital in February 2006.

The new service is located in the rehabilitation department on the ground floor of Hairmyres Hospital.

The RADAR centre provides a daily consultant clinic. This is supported by a multidisciplinary team which is responsible for coordinating all aspects of assessment, diagnostic and rehabilitation services to elderly patients within East Kilbride and Hamilton. Referrals can be made to physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and dietetics.
