• Scottish Training on Drugs and Alcohol (STRADA) - supports people who work with those affected by drug and alcohol misuse
• The Alcohol Education and Research Council (AERC) - administers government fund on alcohol related issues with the main aim helping individuals and organizations to tackle alcohol issues
• Alcohol Concern - the national agency on alcohol misuse provide information on public policy issues affected by alcohol
• Scottish Drugs Forum – a national, non government, agency that co-ordinates drugs policy, information and responses to drug use in Scotland
• Alcoholics Anonymous – provides support to those wishing to stop drinking
• Al-Anon – provides support to anyone affected by someone else’s drinking
• Phoenix Futures – provides care and rehabilitation services for people with alcohol and drug problems
